I just got an update on my mom’s status. A year ago she was diagnosed
with diverticulitis and she had to go for a colonoscopy. They almost
didn’t even do the procedure because her bowels and intestines were so
inflamed and they were worried about nicking her bowel. They were able
to do it but they had use the smallest scope available. They were even
talking about a possible surgery for her to have part of her bowel
removed. My grandmother went through that surgery and was left with so
